An Original or a Copy Cat?

Here is a picture of my fall lantern set. I love decorating with lanterns any time of the year! They can make the best backdrops or center pieces.
They provide light in the evening when your outside with friends celebrating over dinner. It gives just the perfect amount of light.
True light shines and moves all cloudy uncertain things away. I often wonder if people are living their life through a cloud of no purpose. In your twenties you find who you are and in your thirties you find out what your purpose is and from there you live and grow in it. It is one thing to copy decorating or cooking ideas. It's a whole 'nother thing to copy someones life and live out their calling in vain. I am called to a be pastors wife. It was out of my own pain was I made and called for the purpose of Tour of Life. A place for pastors and their spouses to come and find healing.I didn't copy, i'm an original!I would often see ladies when I was growing up try to be just like someone they admired. If they were older then they would try to dress old with the reading glasses to emulate them.If they wore their hair slick back with a bun then all the ladies would copy them. If they had a hankie in their sleeve then all the ladies would go out and buy beautiful hankies to carry to church. If the going thing was for the preaching ladies to be screaming preachers then they would copy them exactly. What ever the biggest churches are doing then they would copy that. Can I ask you a question? Who are you? You can only piece yourself together with all the things you have copied for so long and be far from the original God made you to be.
Do you even know who you are and what your purpose is?If you want to discover your true purpose in life, you must first empty your mind of all the false purposes you’ve been taught (including the idea that you may have no purpose at all).God made you to be an original! Not a copy cat. Quit looking around to fashion yourself after another. Look up? Who made you? TV can't tell you who you are.Your religion can't give you enough ranks to go up the ladder to produce you who you are.You can be president of every club under the sun but if it's all to look good and for power then you have truly missed out! Living in a perfect world and not enduring hardship will stop you from finding who you truly are. It's out of the LIGHT of a broken vessel that you can shine clearly enough to see the directions God is Taking you.
