Salted Toffee Squares

I tried this recipe from Martha Stewart
Wow! Get ready to not being able to stop. (Thank God Thanksgiving is only one day a year) Easy...quick and great for game night.
A keeper. ....

  • 13 graham crackers
  • 1 bag (8 ounces) toffee bits
  • 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped toasted natural (nut of choice) I chose pecan
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup (4 ounces) bittersweet chocolate, chopped, or chocolate chips
  • 3/4 teaspoon coarse salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Place graham crackers in a single layer on sheet, edges touching. Sprinkle toffee bits and almonds over graham crackers.
  2. In a small saucepan, bring sugar and butter to a boil over medium-high. Reduce heat and cook at a rapid simmer, swirling pan occasionally, until mixture is syrupy, 2 minutes. Immediately pour over graham crackers. Bake until sugar topping is bubbling, 12 minutes. Remove from ovenand immediately sprinkle chocolate and saltover graham crackers. With a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut into 2-inch squares. Let cool completely on sheet on a wire rack. (Store in an airtight container, up to 1 week.)

Majestic Outdoor Hunting Trip

We are spending the weekend in the great outdoors in one of natures best areas. We are with some of our dearest friends. They have close to a thousand acres with the third largest natural spring in Missouri. We spent the days hunting, shopping, going out to one of our favorite restaurants, reading, resting, walking, playing games and spending dinner time with them.

Whip Cream Cookies

Tested the whip cream cookies to see if they were any good.
Take any cake box mix, one tub of whipcream and one egg mix together (add your extras like pecans, choc. Chips etc.)
Bake 15 min at 350 degrees on a greased cookie sheet
I dusted with powdered sugar.
Excellent!!!!!! Great hit with my boy's.
I will be making these for them because the choices are unlimited. They are so easy to make.

Angelia's Health Test Kitchen Savory Lemon Muffins

Savory Lemon Muffins
Gluten Free/protein/ healthy

  • 1 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 2 tbs coconut flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup of raw honey
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice, plus the zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 3 eggs, whisked
  • 3 tbs coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
350 degree for 18 min.

Mix wet ingredients first together
Then mix dry together in two separate  bowls
Add to a greased muffin pan

I have to say they turned out great. I served with real butter (not sweet)
Great lemon flavor

Pair it with a great salad.
