Praying For Your Pastor & Family
Exodus 17:9-15
9 Moses said to Joshua, “Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands.”
10 So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. 11 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. 12 When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset. 13 So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.
14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven.”
15 Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my Banner. 16 He said, “Because hands were lifted up against[c] the throne of the Lord,[d] the Lord will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation.”
Father, We stand with our Pastor in Prayer lifting his hands to you. We surrender to your will and to the spiritual authority you have placed over us. We ask you blessing on our Pastor.
*That his personal walk with God would be nourished and strengthened (Mark 1:35)
*That his marriage would be a strong model of Christ's relationship with the Church. While Pastor tenderly cherishes and leads his wife she will respect and encourage Pastor submitting to his leadership (Ephesians 5:23:33)

*That he will have good health, adequate family time, time of relaxation and renewal to balance the stress and pressure of the cloak of Ministry.(1 Corinthians 6:19,9:27)
*That he will be able to focus on the Word of God and be courageous in the pulpit in proclaiming Christ, preaching with insight, transparency and humility(Ephesians 6:19, Colossians 4:3-4)
*That we will have spiritual unity among the leadership and body in the church and that the enemy will not be allowed to create division, strife, or misunderstanding.(1 Corinthians 12:25-26)
*That you will provide for our Pastor and his family financially as he is a wise steward of both personal and church finances(Philippians 4:19)
*That you will give him a fresh divine anointing for his ministry and that your power will be evident in his personal life and the spiritual life of the chruch(2 Timonthy 1:7 and Romans 15:18-19)
