The Power Of One....Chris Janson
During our first pastorate in Perryville, Missouri, we had so many great experiences. One of those experiences was meeting a young man at the age of 15 or so. I led worship at that time. The story is beautiful but there just isn't enough room to write it all down here. As we were moving from one building to another, because of the growth, there was a lot of change. In that process we became friends, mentors, and just loved this special kid that came into our lives. He helped us with drums at times. He helped lead a few worship songs. But what really stood out in the midst of his struggles as a teen, was his heart for God.
You just never know who God will put in front of you. We have met many wonderful, amazing people along the way. We love each and every one.
I know there has been many people come into his life to help lead and direct him in his journey along the way. We pray for Chris in all that God has for him. As a pastor you just never know how big the one can be. It's implied over and over that if you reach thousands then....you are successful. But what if God calls you over and over to just reach out to those " one " at a time.
